Environmental protection

This study programme is based on the modern, multidisciplinary approach to environmental protection and provides a broad training in analysis, management, planning and remediation of endangered environments. The focus of the bachelor programme is on managing processes and analytical methods of environmental protection, and on tackling the challenges faced by industrial plants, public companies and government institutions. As a part of an analytical approach to environmental protection as a science, the student will be highly trained for: understanding and mastering the interdependence of the strategies of sustainable development; managing natural resources and protected goods, registering environmental hazards and managing the natural environment on the global, national and local level, as well as on the level of businesses; understanding the connection between the economic and biotechnological issues, as well as that of the eco-climate and socio-economic problems. The student may shape the structure of their studies by choosing elective courses.

DEGREES:

  • Upon completion of the bachelor academic studies, the student acquires the title ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ANALYST (180 ECTS);
  • Upon completion of the graduate academic studies (60ECTS) the student acquires the title BACHELOR WITH HONOURS – ANALYST OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (180+ 60 ECTS);
