ECOMONDO & KEY INFO DAY
12. 09. 2025.Ecomondo & KEY Info Day, organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), with the support of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade and the Italian Foreign Trade Agency Belgrade (ITA) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrad. The purpose of the gathering was to present the business opportunities offered by the leading Italian fair exhibitions for ecological and energy transition Ecomondo and KEY Energy Transition, as well as connecting with business leaders, innovators and change makers in the field of sustainable development. The focus of the program was be water and waste management, solar energy and energy efficiency.
Ecomondo is the most important international fair event dedicated to ecology and circular economy in our part of Europe, which will be held on 4-7. November 2025 at the Rimini Expo. The fair brings together leading companies, decision makers, representatives of local governments, public opinion leaders and other interested parties. The exhibition part of Ecomondo covers the following areas: use of waste as a secondary raw material, regeneration of soil and agro-forestry and food ecosystems, production of energy from biomass and integrated monitoring of water and the environment.
The KEY Energy Transition fair event, which is dedicated to innovative technologies and solutions in the field of renewable energy sources and energy transition, will be held on 4-6. March 2026 at the Rimini Expo. The exhibition program covers the following topics: energy efficiency, solar energy, wind, hydrogen, e-mobility, sustainable cities and energy storage.
Educons Univesrity Vice-Rector Nataša Stojić and representatives of Educons University -Beaming project team prof. dr. Jelena Ješić and Prof. dr. Simonida Vukadinović actively participated in the happening and presented the Beaming Project to the potential COPs members. During and after the event networking with main stakeholders (representatives from academia, ministries, industry and society) at international level was additional value of this important meeting for future actions in the field of bioeconomy and circular economy.
